Timber-framed barn exterior
Repainting the infill panels of a long timber-framed barn, working carefully around old oak framing.
This large barn has an exposed timber frame with rendered infill panels. Years of weather had left the panels stained and patchy, with green growth in places.
We cleaned and prepared each panel, then cut in by hand along every beam so the dark timber stays crisp against the fresh cream finish. Ladders, dust sheets and protection for the patio and doors were moved along the building section by section.
